COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Jeff Crank, Republican candidate for Congress in Colorado’s 5th Congressional District, today announced the endorsement of several former elected officials joining his campaign team.
“These individuals are the very essence of what Republicans use to stand for before we lost our way,” said Crank. “We owe it to them and the service they gave to the party and our community to make things right in Washington and bring our party back to its roots of less government, less spending and more accountability. I am pleased to have these leaders on my team and appreciate the expertise they bring to our campaign,” concluded Crank.
“Jeff has the leadership, contacts, experience and skills to be an effective leader,” said John Herzog. “We don’t need a back-bencher. We deserve someone setting the agenda, not just voting the party line.”
Former Elected Officials Included:
Lew Entz Former State Senator
Ed Jones Former State Senator
Mary Ellen Epps Former State Senator
Lynn Christian Hefley Former State Representative
John Herzog Former State Representative
Bob Russel Former District Attorney
Chuck Brown Former El Paso County Commissioner
“I worked with Lamborn as a senator,” said Ed Jones. “I believe now just as I did two years ago that Jeff is the best man for the job. Jeff fits every description of a conservative and is a person of high integrity that I will continue to work hard for because he will work hard for us.”
