My family had a wonderful opportunity to go on an African safari in late March 2014. It was an awe-inspiring trip that I am so fortunate to be able to share with my family - and through some photos - with some of my listeners. We had such gracious hosts in Chris Cawood and Mel from Southern Cross Safaris right outside of Cradock, Eastern Cape, South Africa. You can visit them at www.southerncrosshunting.net.
If you ever have a chance to go on a hunt like this in Africa, it is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. I put these pictures on this site so that people can choose to see them. I don't post them on Facebook or other social media outlets as people may be browsing and come across them. I respect that not everyone would want to see these photos. Surely, you can also respect those who do.
It looks like a good hunt. I hope that you have mounts made of your trophies.

ReplyDeleteThe moment their tails started 'wagging' was really when it was starting to get irritated - and also how dumb can those tourists be? They're wild territorial animals and not domesticated cats, kind of wish they got attacked. Thanks all. Best of luck.

On the hunt for the perfect shoes there are many factors that come into play to determine the absolute best find for you. At times this can be a bit stressing when trying to find exactly what you want to wear for the season.
