"When they allow a talk show host to play them like a two-dollar banjo, they demonstrate what kind of backbone they'll bring to the job later on, if we elect them. After they get elected will they continue to allow Jeff Crank to put a nickel in them and wind them up every Saturday morning?"

“Tis the season…”
by John Alexander Madison
December 6, 2010

During the month of December I will be on sabbatical with an expected return early in the New Year.

(per Dictionary.com
sabbatical: a leave from one’s customary work for rest and to acquire new skills).

Best wishes to you and your family and friends for a very Merry Christmas!

EPILOGUE

During my leave, I will be watching events as they unfold throughout Colorado and back in Washington, D.C. and should some news emanate from the (very) lame duck Congress which warrants some remarks I will be weighing in…in the meantime best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year in 2011. Be safe.
